Sgurr - English Springer Spaniels

Glen (Edgegrove Furrow) is a proven stud siring biddable puppies that mark to him for good bone, broad head and plenty of drive. He has pups in working homes in Scotland, England and Germany and also as family pets in homes with young children. Glen comes from very strong field trialling lines. His sire Halaze Hickory of Edgegrove won a Diploma of Merit (DOM) in the national Spaniel Championship 2002 and his granddam Rhw Ddu Elen won a DOM in the Championship 2001. Glen has 2 national Champions in his 5 generation pedigree along with many Field Trial Champions and Field Trial Winners.

As he is clear for the DNA heritable conditions listed above, none of his puppies will be affected by these problems no matter what is the status of the bitch. As a number of Glen's family are in the USA and Sweden (his half-brother Edgegrove Hitch was Swedish Champion in 2008) I've been able to use open data banks in those countries to see their hipscores – all of them have been very good. Glen's own hipscore 7 is one of the best in the UK and his son Sgurr Mor is 6 ( the lower the score the better) so Glen is passing good hips to his progeny.
