Jodie (Druimmuir Dancing Queen) comes from excellent lines. In recent years close members of her family have won or been placed in the Spaniel Championship and the Irish Championship. Her great granddam Sunnybrae Siskin won the national Spaniel Championship in 1995. Her granddam Edwardiana Tweed won the Irish Championship in 2003 and was second to Steadroc Sker in the Spaniel Championship in 2001. Sker is half brother to Jodie’s sire Sam (Annickview Basher) and his litter sister Annickview Breeze. Aunt Breeze has won the Spaniel Championship twice, (2005 & 2007) and the Irish Championship in 2007, handled by Dave Lissett who bred Sam and Breeze. Jodie has five national Champions in her 5 generation pedigree as well as dogs with Championship placings and Diplomas of Merit.
She is a very pretty bitch, outgoing and friendly and often goes to see people with disabilities who no longer are able to have their own dog. She has been a super mum and had her final litter in 2010 as she is now six. Jodie will of course stay with me now she has retired as a dam. She is the foundation bitch of Sgurr and I am keeping a female pup Breagha from her last litter (with FTCH Helmsway Hawk of Witchwillows, a health-checked sire) to continue her line.
