2010 litter of puppies from Jodie and Scott
(hopefully) ready to home in late Spring.
For Jodie's final litter of puppies I am using a different
sire than Glen as I want to keep a bitch pup to mate with him eventually.
There are very, very few health checked studs in the working lines of
Springers so I am using a sire without health checks but with an excellent
pedigree and doing well in field trials. Helmsway Hawk of Witchwillows
(Scott) is the son of UK Championship Winner Steadroc Sker and Irish
Championship Winner Craighaar Charisma. Scott gained a Diploma of Merit
in the 2009 UK Championship and is an Open Field Trail Winner. Jodie
and Scott mated on November 10 and puppies are due hopefully in mid

My price for 2010 pups booked now is £400. Please be aware that I am very careful about where my pups are placed so I ask potential buyers lots of questions about the situation they want to bring a pup into and their experience with dogs and Springers in particular. I'm happy to accept first time dog owners provided they are committed to the pup's welfare and will go to a training class.
I have pups in working homes, as pet/companions and in a number of homes with young children. I am happy to provide contacts with existing owners of Sgurr Springers so potential buyers have references on the service I give and the quality of the pups I breed.
I keep a waiting list in first come order and ask if you are looking for a bitch or a dog. I ask for a £50 non-returnable deposit. When the pups are born, I contact you with the litter details and arrange viewing etc. I hold the price quoted when you went on the waiting list so if my prices increase you do not pay extra. If I cannot offer you a pup then I will return your deposit or hold it to the next litter (at the same price) as you choose.

One of the requirements of the Scheme is that I have a Puppy
Sales Contract (sent out when you contact me) which I ask you to look
at carefully. I try to make it fair to you and me and in the best interests
of the puppy. I also provide a puppy pack with further information, free
6 week insurance and health record for each pup. I give help, advice and
support not only to owners of my pups but to anyone with genuine enquiries
